13 6X6 WHEELED ARTICULATED VEHICLES, LIGHT

Flex-Frame-Vehicle-ATAC.jpg

Flex Frame Vehicle from ATAC, Army Tank Automotive Center now TACOM, in 1961-62 had double coil spring joint and hydraulic drive to each wheel. No restriction was provided in roll. Pitch and yaw were limited. Bekker at the same time built 6 wheeled non driven prototypes fitted with an elastic frame that allowed restricted freedom in pitch and roll.
