Hexawheels of Mercedes-Benz is the project of Siyamak Rouhi Dehkordi, 35 years old engineer from Iran for Mercedes in 2010. It is an 6x6 articulated in pitch and roll (perhaps in yaw ?) wheeled vehicle like Flextrac of Meili or the Gama-Goat. Equipped with hydraulic positive pitch control for better crossing obstacles, will it be a true model ? http://www.emercedesbenz.com/autos/mercedes-benz/concept-vehicles/mercedes-benz-hexawheel-concept-design-study/attachment/mercedes-benz-hexawheel-concept-04-lg/

AGL-6, 6x6, Articulated truck in roll and yaw, 1967 of GMC Division of General Motors. 155 hp, semi-elliptic springs at front and suspended walking beam at rear. It was reported to be a very mobile and versatile truck. Articulated vehicles were extensively tested at that time, to increase mobility of trucks. The price increased also and it proved that the mobility surplus was not worth the trouble. Just develop the land. Generally, nowadays, wheeled vehicles have rigid chassis except special vehicles.
